Mindfulness for Life Training
An eight-week, experience based training that provides tools to be present in the Here & Now to learn to cope with stressful situations and unhelpful habits.
You will learn to recognize and respond to difficult situations and habits with a conscious response instead of automatic reactions. This creates new space to make choices, which gives you freedom.
The training is structured in a solid way and represents a fusion of Eastern and Western psychology. Elements from meditation, cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion and mindful movement are involved. This training has become an indispensable part within the world of mental health.

Setting
- An individual intake by phone to discuss participation
- The training consists of 8 weekly sessions, each lasting approximately 2.5 hours.
- This training is offered in a group due to the valuable dynamic and new insights.
- A maximum of 6 participants per group to ensure a small-scale approach.
It is important to mention that this training does not offer therapy.
It does emphasize being mindful of one's own experiences and learning to deal with what is present now without judging or suppressing. Developing a kind attitude in dealing with life's small and large setbacks.

Trainer
Noor Bakkal is a warm-hearted human. She is a former family doctor with a list of specialities and experience in yoga, coaching and mindfulness.
Currently she is specializing in Lifestyle Medicine.
With a skilled and caring presence she guids people in their mental, emotional and physical growth.
In 2022 she completed her postgraduate training at Radboud University Center of Expertise for Mindfulness
She is a category 1 trainer and a member of the VMBN (Nederlands Association of Mindfulness Trainers) and the Mindfulness Register.
